Editor's Notes

OK, so I also managed to make it by the La Brea Tar Pits and the Page Museum today. One of my all time to-do list things to do. I enjoyed the walk through the museum as well as the reminiscing about undergrad. The dire wolf and saber tooth skeletons were incredible, in number as well as individually. Sad that the appearance of humans spelled the end of so many large mammals. The lions, tigers, and wolves were probably beautiful, not to mention the mastodons, bears, and other animals.

We spent a nice quiet weekend in Breckenridge and saw some wet, heavy snow. There was no real excitement this weekend... some annoyances with the HOA. We did find time to take a nice hike up the road and then down the ski slopes behind the condo. Didn't find any silverware this time!
