Buenas Aires Pizzeria

One of the best pizza places in Denver happens not to be Italian, but Argentine! The Buenas Aires Pizzeria has delicious thin crust pizzas, a lovely pasta bar on Sundays, and a fantastic selection of empanadas to sample before your pizza arrives at your table.

The best thing to do is to order a selection of empanadas, take your time savoring each bite along with the oil and oregano sauce that is served with them, and then dive into your pizza if you still have room. Their great selection of pizzas includes both 'red' and 'white' pies and can come with everything from bacon to hard-boiled eggs to chorizo. One of our favorites is the Napolitana plus anchovies, but we have yet to be disappointed by anything we've ordered.

The service has always been fantastic and family-oriented. One of our friends had to once leave the table with his 2-year-old. Without prompting, the staff took his pasta plate and put it in a warmer so that it would be hot when he got back!

Did I forget to mention that they also have flan and gelato? The biggest problem there is that we've never had room left over to try them! We'll have to reserve a special visit just to try the sweets.

On a side note, the nice people at the Buenas Aires Pizzeria have opened up a grille in Denver, too! We can't wait to try that!
