Flashback: Mohawk Lakes, BreckenridgeJune 21, 2006 22:55
We went for a great hike last summer to see Mohawk lakes near Breckenridge, CO. Man... the water, the flowers, the butterflies... it was gorgeous. The hike takes several hours, but it's worth it. We went up to several of the lakes and were astonished at how much water was up there. I can't wait to go back. Mom and dad got some really pretty photos of me... and they're lucky, too because I really wanted to just run around and play.
Flashback: A day in the Sand DunesJune 21, 2006 22:50
We've done some pretty cool things since mom and dad rescued me from the Colorado Humane Society. One of the most fun was getting to go to the Great Sand Dunes National Monument in Colorado. Dude... I didn't even know that you could have sand dunes and no beach! We trecked up and down, up and down... did I mention up and down? The sand was hard, but all the other dogs on the trip were tired out at the end of the day and I was still ready to play ball. The most fun was chasing dad, Noah and Eric on their snowboards while they poked down the sand. Looked like a lot of effort for some slow riding to me!
No more Houdini for me...June 20, 2006 13:20
It's been a week since I was caged in the backyard again. Can you believe that they don't want me out strolling the neighborhood during the day? Well... at least I got to go swimming in Breckenridge this weekend. We play frisbee and soccer down in the city, but it's just too darned hot to do too much. Next time, I need to get a photo of me getting cool in the Blue River... fun!
Call me "Houdini"June 09, 2006 16:15
Unfortunately last night Mom and Dad found out that this week I discovered an escape route from the backyard. You see... they didn't know because nice neighbors kept dropping me off back at home before the end of the day. Finally, some guy named Andrew caught me and kept me in his yard all day, then called Mom and Dad. Can you believe that? This morning Dad was out there at 7:00 AM, wiring up the fence. Busted!!! Oh... to live another day outside in the alley... Milo, the Dog Who Loves His Ball - Monday, August 02, 2010
