Benjamin's Story

Here is Ben sifting through some sand and pebbles at the playground at the Discovery Museum. You can see that he also found some money!

Jeanette also got a membership to the Discovery Museum which we have used a bunch! On this particular day, I took Ben down and tired him out a bit too much. But here you can see that he was having fun!

Ben will pretty much play with anything he finds... old cigarettes, feathers, candy wrappers, sticks, stones... you get the idea. We are fairly vigilant with the bad things, but sticks and stones are alright. Maybe they taste good to him!

We took Ben and Milo to Rodeo beach to hang out for the afternoon. Here you can see the little tough boy menacing me with his shovel. He looooves the beach...

We took a nice drive up the coast to the town of Tomales. Here you can see Benjamin finishing off a date bar that we got at a small ice cream shop. We also stopped and had some yummy BBQ'ed oysters, except that Ben was a little pain in the butt during our lunch.

All in all, it was a nice day, and the drive is only 20-30 miles out from our place.

Believe it or not, the best things to try at Korbel were the reds and a brandy that we didn't get to open till we got home. Yummy stuff!

We were just clowning around with Ben, exploring a possible wine country purchase that day.

We sat Ben in this saddle and he grabbed onto the pommel right away. He was pretty cute!

We took Benjamin to the San Francisco Zoo. Jeanette got a membership there right after we moved to CA. Ben likes to pet the goats and sheep in his typically fearless manner.
