First we went to the 'New Fake Market' underneath the Science and Technology Museum. The museum itself is incredible. I didn't have time to look inside, but if I ever go back to Shanghai, I'm going to make a point to do so. The hunt took us to6 different locations in 6 hours and we were all beat by the time we ended. The locations were: Shanghai Science and Technology Museum - if I'm ever here again, I'll go back. I did manage to get some work done and then I got my second wind at about 5:00 and decided to go shopping. Taking the advice of a western Shanghai blogger, I decided to go today because it's stall payment day and I waited till near the end of the day and bargained hard at closing time. I bought a bunch of designer t-shirts and a purse for Jeanette. On the purse I was down around 15% of the starting price. On the t-shirts I was near the same. We hada long working day, then some of us went to the East Bund, near the new financial district, to have dinner and see some sights. I also found a grocery store near the Bund and bought some tea and dried mushrooms with some help from one of the girls from the product design team. The Bund is pretty incredible at night. Vegas x 10, plus ships with permanent, sometimes bizarre light installations.
