Shanghai 2008

Friday was the last working day of the week... then the long trip home on Saturday. We had a long working day, then some of us went to the East Bund, near the new financial district, to have dinner and see some sights. I also found a grocery store near the Bund and bought some tea and dried mushrooms with some help from one of the girls from the product design team.

The Bund is pretty incredible at night. Vegas x 10, plus ships with permanent, sometimes bizarre light installations. Very good for people and sight watching.

Customs on Saturday was pretty trivial. I got to do some shopping in the store in the hotel (nice store, for future reference) and some more in the airport. We took another shuttle to the airport, so I'll have to take the maglev another time.

Definitely had a good time in Shanghai! I hope I get to go back.
